Section of Burham Avenue in Calumet City closed for repairs

South Suburban motorists should expect a detour when traveling along Burnham Avenue through Calumet City. The bridge between 143rd Street in Burnham and State Street in Calumet City was closed Nov. 9 to all local traffic, the Illinois Department of Transportation said. Second phase of Borman reconstruction nears completion

This Indiana Department of Transportation graphic illustrates the Fall 2009 to Summer 2010 lane configuration for the Borman Expressway reconstruction project. Construction is moving into the next phase. A new eastbound restriction starts after the ramp to I-65 south; the right lane separated by a barrier wall.

Northbound Cicero closed through Sunday for railroad repairs

Motorists should expect delays through Sunday along Cicero Avenue at the Stevenson Expressway due to railroad crossing repairs, the Illinois Department of Transportation said in a news release. Nighttime construction to restrict Borman Expressway beginning Sunday
